To our patients and their families – We are here to meet your Healthcare Needs.
We aim to work by appointment but sometimes there may be a delay due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
Unfortunately our practice is closed to new patients. We aim to offer patients appointments with their chosen doctor as soon as possible.
However this may not always be possible. Same day and emergency appointments may be with the doctor that has availability
SURGERY HOURS
All surgeries are made by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by telephone or by visiting the practice reception. Please make a separate appointment for each person attending. When making your appointment you may be asked the nature of your visit. Please be aware that any information you give us is understood by our staff to be of a highly confidential nature.
Our opening hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Morning Appointments: Mon – Fri 9:00 – 12:30
Afternoon Appointments: Mon – Fri 2:30 – 17:00
When making an appointment please let the receptionist know if it is an emergency or if you have serious concern about your health. This will enable us to manage your call appropriately.
EMERGENCY
Medical emergencies will be dealt with promptly at all times. Please call and let the receptionist know of the emergency and they will advise accordingly.

Newport Medical Centre is a member of ShannonDoc , who provide out of hours GP services when your own surgery is closed.
ShannonDoc runs 6pm – 8am Monday – Friday and 24hrs at weekends and bank holidays
ShannonDoc is not a replacement for the emergency services. If you require emergency treatment you should contact the emergency services on 999 or go straight to the nearest Emergency Department.
